Our woodwind lessons offer students the chance to explore the expressive and versatile world of saxophone, flute, and clarinet in a fun, supportive environment. Whether you’re a total beginner or an advancing player, we provide personalised tuition tailored to your goals.
We teach alto, tenor, and soprano saxophone, helping students develop tone, technique, and confidence across a wide range of musical styles—from classical and jazz to pop and contemporary.
Led by our experienced tutors Monique and Will, our woodwind programme supports students preparing for graded exams, school performances, or simply learning for fun. Lessons focus on building strong foundations in breathing, embouchure, articulation, and reading music, while encouraging creativity and musical expression.
Whether you’re starting out or returning to your instrument, our woodwind lessons are designed to help you grow as a confident and skilled musician.
We also offer Examinations with various exam boards such as ABRSM & Trinity.

Saxophone

Clarinet

🎷Your Tutors - Will & Monique 🎷
Our woodwind tutors, Monique and Will, bring a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to their lessons. Monique teaches flute alongside singing, piano, and drama, while Will specialises in saxophone, clarinet, and flute, and also teaches beginner piano. Both are passionate about nurturing musical confidence in students of all ages, whether you’re picking up a woodwind instrument for the first time or preparing for graded exams.

We advise children from the age of 6 upwards benefit from one-to-one lessons. However some younger children can still benefit with shorter lessons.

Yes. We encourage students to pursue examinations, as Grades 6 upwards gain UCAS Points for University. We also offer exam tuition in Classical/Folk/Pop and Musical Theatre depending on what the student may want to pursue.

No. Exams are extremely beneficial in improving confidence and technique, however sometimes they can be scary and time consuming. Some students prefer lessons for enjoyment and a break from all those devices!
