Will Forrester
Will started playing the Saxophone at the age of 12 after seeing The Blues Brothers on T.V. and has never looked back. Whilst at school he was picked to take part in a placement with the Royal Marines Band down at their prestigious music college in Kent for 3 weeks.
This led Will to go back to his hometown of Aberdeen and study classical saxophone for 3 years, this is where a lot of his technique was developed. After this course Will changed paths slightly and moved to Leeds to study Jazz at Leeds College of Music. Will graduated from here in 1998 with a BA (Hons) Degree in Jazz Studies.
Since leaving college Will has played with many Top Tribute bands the main one being Complete Madness from Leeds. He has played all over the country and supported acts such as Peter Andre, Boney M, and Dr and The Medics.
As a solo artist Will plays several weddings a month, both for the ceremony and during the drinks reception/meal, he can also be occasionally found in the clubs around Leeds playing alongside resident DJ’s. Will is also a sought after musician from theatre companies around West Yorkshire playing in many amateur shows every year.
