Cello lessons at The Lion Academy of Music. We provide musical training with multiple instruments including strings instruments such as Violin, Viola and Cello.
The School offers lessons in Cello to Beginners right up to Grade 8, Adults and Children alike.
The Lion Academy of Music can take you through a creative, exciting & encouraging musical Journey that is designed to challenge but enhance your newly found Cello Skills.
Furthermore we can tailor our lessons for students to focus on a classical, Baroque or even explore electric and modern cello music. See Tina Guo for inspiration!
Examinations are also available for our students. We can even offer Performance & Recorded Cello exams right from the comfort of our Brighouse Studio.
We have a 100% exam pass rate in ABRSM, LCM, LAMDA and Trinity College London.

Elizabeth “Libbs” is a professional Violinist and String player performing and recording strings for Pop and Folk bands.
Libbs trained at the prestigious Birmingham Conservatoire and Leeds College of Music. Libbs is passionate about quality teaching. ” I recognise the profound influence it has had on me, and also with my one to one pupils. I have been teaching privately for 5 years, and I currently teach strings in primary schools to whole class groups.”
I also encourage ear training with my string pupils.

Absolutely! Adults are welcome, whether your looking to expand on Vocal technique or want to pick up a new hobby!
We advise children from the age of 6 upwards benefit from 1-2-1 lessons. However some younger Children can still benefit with shorter lessons.
Yes. We encourage students to pursue singing exams, as Grades 6 upwards gain UCAS Points for University. We also offer exam tuition in Classical/Folk/Pop and Musical Theatre depending on what the student may want to pursue.
No. Exams are extremely beneficial in improving confidence and technique, however sometimes they can be scary and time consuming. Some students prefer lessons for enjoyment and a break from all those devices!
